Stage 02 of 06 · Scope built
One quote becomes three sets of paperwork
Each one carries only what its reader needs.
Illustration. Real screens from a dummy quote will replace it.
- For suppliers: a materials request per kind of supply, such as materials, scaffold or powered access. It says what is wanted, where and by when, and carries none of your prices.
- For subcontractors: one scope per trade, with its measure and wording. No job costs, no margin, no client price.
- For your project manager: the scope of works, with each trade's commercials, held back from every seat below the office.
Your office prices each trade scope. A surveyor can cut scopes and is never shown a money box. Once an offer goes out against a scope, the scope locks, so what a subcontractor was offered cannot change under them.
