Questions we get asked
Straight answers about SUBR: what it reads, who sees which price, whether subcontractors need an account, whether it sends email, CIS, and price.
Do my subcontractors need an account?
No. They answer on a link with no account and no password.
Does SUBR email my subcontractors?
No. SUBR sends nothing. Your office copies each subcontractor's link and sends it the way it already does.
Will a subcontractor see my margin?
No. A subcontractor sees their trade, the address, the wording and their own price. Nothing else. This is checked by automated tests on the data each person is sent, not only on the screen.
Can I trust the AI with prices?
The AI proposes and your office decides. Every read is checked with two ticks before anything moves on, and priced lines that do not add up to the sale price need a written reason.
What if it reads a quote wrong?
You catch it at the check, before anything goes out. When you correct it, SUBR keeps the correction as a lesson for your firm.
Does SUBR handle CIS?
Not yet. There is a CIS status field on the subcontractor's record and that is all. No verification and no deductions.
Does it connect to my accounts?
Not today.
Is my data used for other firms?
No. What your office teaches SUBR is kept for your firm alone.
Can I try it myself?
There is no self-serve trial. Book a demo and we will walk you through it on a dummy quote.
How much is it?
£395 a month per company, excluding VAT. Five Founding Firms get £150 a month for their first twelve months.
